Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. The most notable recognition was given to her for her role as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). She also played the lead character Jerrica Jem Benton in the movie Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples grew up on Lake Mary Florida. She also has an older sister named Ally. Aubrey performed for 10 seasons in the Orlando Repertory Theatre. Aubrey was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was valedictory speakers for the class in 2012. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but they later voted to let her into the university for a second entry because she was cast in "Nashville". Peeples played on the screen in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2005). She also had a recurring part in Necessary Rustness (1991). She appeared in made for television films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She played a significant role as Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama in the second season. Peeples talked about her bipolar condition during an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples to be one of the top actors who is under twenty in September 2014.
